FUN STUFF: NATURE ART
Making dandelion chains.
Dandelions grow in a lot of places and are easy to find with their bright yellow flowers, jagged-edge leaves and white puffballs of seeds.
Since they are weeds and plenty of them, you can pick a bunch. (We Gallavants always say "Please" and "Thank you" whenever we pick something in nature. It's all alive, you know.)
To make a dandelion chain you need to nip off the flower part and put the thinner end of the stem into the wider bottom end. They're hollow, just like straws.
Once you've made a loop, then you take the next stem and put it through the loop before you connect the two ends. Then you continue linking the loops together until it's the length you want.
To make it really pretty you can tie or weave some of the yellow flowers through it and wear it like a necklace.
Perhaps you like to make a really long chain decorated with flowers that you can give your Tree-Buddy next time you visit? Click the button below to Print these instructions.

More Dandelion Fun!
Pick a bunch of dandelions or perhaps you have left-
overs from making a dandelion chain? Nip off the
flowers and arrange them into a shape on the ground
or flat surface. It could be a animal shape or a really
big flower, or whatever your imagination can come up
with.
We, in the Vit-Gang, made a HUGE yellow heart!
It took us a while, because the flowers are pretty big
to us. Check it out!
It's great way to put a smile on the Gallavants' nunqs
and, of course, on people's faces, don't you think?

Dragons and Dinosaurs!
There are all kinds of fun animals you can create outdoors.
Nature, of course, provides all the materials so that's why we call it Nature Art.
Rocks and pebbles are perfect for dragons and dinosaurs, because they come in so many difference sizes and colors.
Leaves and flowers add that extra touch of color.
We Gallavants usually work with smaller pebbles, since we're only about three inches tall, but you can probably handle pretty big rocks.
All you need is some time, your imagination and perhaps a little snack if you get hungry.
Have fun! Make a whole zoo of dragons, dinosaurs and other creatures.
Also, remember to have SPARC!
