How to Make a Bark Boat

We gallavants love to sail across Clearwater Pond!

Bark-boats are easy and fun to make.

1. Find a good piece of bark under a pine tree.
   Only take what’s fallen off, otherwise you can hurt the tree.
2. You’ll need a wooden thin stick. BBQ skewers work well too.
3. Put a little ball of play-dough here. Mush it down at the edges, so it stays.
4. Find a beautiful leaf and carefully put the point of the stick through it.
5. Then push the end of the stick into the play-dough and there it is!

6. Sail it in a slow stream or in the tub if you’re allowed.
