Pebble Piling Instructions

• This is about working with balance and the gravity of the Earth.
• Find some small stones. They could be any shape and color.
• Texture could be smooth or rough. Choose sizes that are easy to handle.
• Then find a flat surface and start putting one on top of the other.
• Sometimes there could be a part of the stone that has a little dent, that could help fitting another rock on top of it. If they’re round and smoothed by a stream or river pebble-piling could be a fun challenge.
• Perhaps if you are many kids, you could split up in teams.
• Which team makes the highest pile?
